Elite Martial Arts

Elite Martial Arts students study the style known as Shorei GoJu Ryu. It originated from Japan and includes skills regarding manners, self-defense, katas, optional sparring, etc. The program runs parallel with Elite Cheer and Dance and is structured very similarly. Student discounts apply for additional classes/siblings. Current discounts are given at 10% and are available to anyone participating in any Elite program.

Students may wear a white or black gi during classes. However, white gis should be worn at Promotions.

Elite Martial Arts members are automatically members of Elite United, Inc. Elite United is our not-for-profit organization that allows members to fundraise and take advantage of tax exemptions when purchasing things through Elite. Each student has his/her own account and keeps 80% of the profit he/she raises. Account money may be used to purchase equipment, martial arts clothing, registration fees, competition and promotion fees, etc. It may not be used for tuition.

Promotions are offered every 4-6 weeks and cost $25 each. Cost includes a new belt, as well as a diploma. Specific belt requirements must be met before promoting.

Classes are currently held on the following days/times:

• Mondays 5:00-7:30pm
• Tuesdays 5:00-7:30pm
• Thursdays 5:00-7:30pm

(Students are encouraged to attend as many times each week as possible)

5:00-5:30pm	Summer Fitness/After School Students/Younger, Lower Belt Ranks
5:30-6:15pm	White, Gold, and Yellow, Orange, Youth Green Belts
6:15-7:00pm	Adult Green, Youth and Adult Blue, Purple, Brown, and Black Belts
7:00-7:30pm	Tuesdays only - weapons class
7:00-7:30pm	Thursdays only - sparring class

We do not require contract commitments. Tuition is due by the 1st of each month.
